A bamboo toothbrush will work in exactly the same way as a conventional plastic toothbrush.
At end of life you can reuse your toothbrush in many different ways, for example, as a cleaning brush, paint stirrer or anything you need to get into those nucks and crannies with ! (Not sure if these are real words, but hey, you get my drift …. reuse reuse reuse !)
The bristles are made from nylon and are currently not biodegradable.
You can either pull out the bristles with a pliers and dispose of in your general waste bin or break off the head of the brush and compost the rest of the handle.
